What we do and what we can support:

 

Professional Development

  • Gaining CS Endorsement for your teachers (45 PD hours)
  • Learn to Code with the Programming Institute (3 full days with choice of language)
  • Introductory Launching Computer Science course to get teachers introduced to computer science in their classrooms (6 PD Hours)
  • CS Integration course for educators ready to teach CS integrated lessons (6 PD Hours)
  • Curriculum Writing Workshops to build lessons that integrate CS into core content (6-18 PD Hours)
  • History and ELA focused tool-based CS Integration Workshops for teachers in grades 6-12

Teacher Support

  • Lesson review for your teachers writing integrated lessons
  • Provide after-school/club curriculum (e-Textiles for grades 3-5, Story Programming for 6-12)
  • Aligning CS standards with your current pacing guides
    Professional Development

Resources & Materials

  • Subscriptions to MegaBytes student magazine
  • Family engagement through CS In STEM Nights
  • Connections to EdTech Companies for purchasing tools for CS instruction
